Congratulations to our winning riders from this past
2008 Trillium H/J Show Season!
Wow! What a banner 5th year for the NeQ Crew! Many new faces have helped this show season finish off with a big bang! Our show team is growing and evolving quickly with the help of wonderful students and supportive parents. It's not too late to become part of our barn crew or winning show crew for 2009!
Another wonderful year for Monica B. and her amazing mount 'Rhythm Divine' having worked hard she moved up from the Mod.Child division from last year and now will end up in 5th for the year in the very competive Mod.Adults as well as a super 3rd place finish in the Mod.Adult Medal for the year. Ryhthm Divine will be leased to Katherine B. who had some great success O/F and in the hack division on 'Antrim' in 2008 and now moves to the Adult Training hunters for the 2009 season as Monica is headed off to school. Monica will continue to aspire to the jumper ring on Nick B.'s horse 'Players Light' for next season, while Nick and his PT boarder will concentrate on getting some milage in the hunters for 2008/2009.
Also another great growing year for Amanda W. and her new NeQ mount 'Delectable.' After her 5th place for the 2007 year on NeQ's 'Keynote Addres', Amanda had some success early on in the Child Training Hunters but due to an injury to her mount was unable to continue the season on him, 'Egali' made for an easy transition and she was able to compete at several shows during her development year. We wish Amanda luck as she goes on to the University of Guelph in 2009 and will see her back at NeQ for the 2009 show season.
New to the NeQ pony crew this year 7 year old Ruby D. and her leased mount 'Beaverwoods Puffyn' has had a great breakout year, having several top ribbon placings in the very competitive Leadline division and the W/T equitation division. She will finish off her year in a very impressive 3nd place. We look forward to seeing Ruby in 2009 on her new pony 'My Little Treasure' (Chubbs) in the X-rails division! Also joining our pony crew this past year were 6yr old Jamie Souccar on her leased pony 'Beaverwoods Buttercup' and 8yrs old Britanie B. and her own med. pony mount 'Dream of Today'. Jamie and Butter came out this year and had a wonderful season of learning and growing in the Leadline and W/T divisions winning an all around 5th place for the year. Jamie will be working hard all winter on her new pony. Britanie and Dream of today worked hard all season and had a great top ribbon placing of 6th in the very competive W/T division. We look forward to seeing both girls in 2009 in the X-rails division!
Felicitations go out to Jennifer L. on her purchase of 'Cartier' a beautiful gray Hanovarian. Jen put in some good show milage on 'Delectable' in 2008 and now Jen will be working very hard this winter to prepare for her breakout season in 2009 in the Adult Training Hunters. Also congrats goes out to Audrey S. on her purchase of the beautiful bay hunter 'Romanto Lapiz'. Audrey started this year off with great success aboard the seasoned horse Second Feature [tragically 'Zack' was put down in the early spring and will be missed]. Using her successes in 2008 Audrey has turned to hard work with Lapiz this winter to be ready for the 2009 season in the Adult Training Hunters. Ray Gimble will also be joining our crew with his wonderful mount 'Bronson' we look forward to working with him and seeing him win in the show ring in 2009.
Riders to watch out for: Vicky E. and her wonderful hunter mare 'Catarina' (for SHOW PT-board!) Paula H. and 'Jonathan Wild' as well as Genevieve B. and 'Isanne' in the dressage ring.
Congrats to all on your hard work and dedication to Northequest, your riding and the equestrian sport. It was a team effort that paid off! Good luck to all next season!
